Terms & Conditions
Effective from October 23, 2026
1. About these terms
This website is operated by Acme Business Solutions LLC ("Acme", "we", "our"), Your street address, Suite 000, Your City, ST 00000, United States. These terms apply whenever you browse this website, contact us or buy any of our services. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy.
2. Who may use our services
Our services are offered to businesses, and to individuals acting for a business, located in the USA & Canada. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the business named on your order or quote.
3. What we provide
We provide bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, advisory and digital marketing services, delivered online. Descriptions on this website are summaries. The services, deliverables, timelines and price for each engagement are set out in your plan description or written quote; once accepted, that document forms part of these terms and takes priority if the two ever differ.
Our reports and advice are based on the records you give us. They are not audits, and they do not replace advice from a licensed CPA, tax adviser or attorney where the law requires one.
4. Prices, billing and subscriptions
- Prices are shown on our Pricing page and in your quote. All prices are in US dollars (USD) and exclude any applicable sales tax.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and US bank transfer (ACH).
- Monthly plans are subscriptions. The plan price is charged in advance when you subscribe and then automatically on the same date each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for each billing period.
- We will email you at least 30 days before any change to your plan price takes effect. If you don't agree to the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
- Project fees are charged as stated in the quote, normally half before work starts and half on delivery.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it over the following days and we'll let you know by email. If it can't be collected within 15 days, we may pause work until the balance is paid.
- Charges appear on your card or bank statement as ACME BUSINESS.
5. Cancellations, refunds and disputes
You can cancel a monthly plan at any time with 30 days' written notice. Refund eligibility and timelines are set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. If you don't recognise a charge or believe it is wrong, please contact us first; we respond within 2 business days and will refund any charge made in error.
6. Promotions and discounts
From time to time we may offer discounts or introductory prices. The conditions of each offer, including its duration, eligibility and the price that applies afterwards, are shown next to the offer and on your receipt. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, have no cash value and apply to new subscriptions only.
7. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate, complete records on time, to keep any login access you grant us up to date, and to review the reports we send. You remain responsible for decisions you make using our work, and for filing returns and paying taxes unless your quote states that we will file on your behalf.
8. Our responsibilities
We will carry out the agreed work with reasonable skill and care, keep you informed of progress, and tell you promptly about anything that could affect a deadline or the price.
9. Restrictions
We do not provide services to individuals or organisations subject to US sanctions, or for any unlawful purpose. We do not provide legal representation, audits or assurance, or tax filing outside our licensed scope, and we may decline or end an engagement where providing the service would break applicable law or professional rules.
10. Confidentiality and data
We keep your business information confidential and use it only to deliver your services. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual property
The text, illustrations and code on this website belong to Acme Business Solutions LLC. Once paid for, reports, content and websites created specifically for you may be used freely by your business. We may reuse our general know-how, templates and tools in other work.
12. Limits on our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, or for losses caused by inaccurate or late information from you. Our total liability for any claim connected with an engagement will not exceed the fees you paid for that engagement in the three months before the claim.
13. Using this website
Please don't misuse the website, for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, sending automated or misleading form submissions, or copying its content for commercial use. We may update or withdraw parts of the website at any time.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Your State, United States. We will always try to resolve a concern informally first; if that isn't possible, disputes will be handled by the state and federal courts located in Your County, Your State.
15. Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Engagements already under way continue on the terms that applied when you accepted your quote or subscribed, unless we both agree otherwise.
