Privacy Policy
Effective from October 23, 2026
Who is responsible for your data
Acme Business Solutions LLC, Your street address, Suite 000, Your City, ST 00000, United States, decides how the personal data described here is used, and is responsible for it. Privacy questions go to hello@example.com.
The data we collect
- When you contact us: your name, business name, email, phone number, the service you're interested in and anything you write in your message.
- When you become a client: billing contact details, and the business records, payroll data and account access you choose to share so we can deliver the work.
- When you pay: the amount, date, plan or invoice, billing email and payment status. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout, not on our website.
- When you browse: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested and time) and, if analytics are switched on, cookie-based usage statistics.
Why we use it
- To answer enquiries and prepare quotes (our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps you ask us to take before a contract).
- To deliver, invoice and support the services you buy (performance of our contract with you).
- To keep accounting and tax records we are legally required to keep.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse, and to understand which pages are useful.
Personal data is never sold or rented to anyone, and your business records are used for your engagement only.
Payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. Stripe collects the card or bank details needed to complete your payment and may use them to prevent fraud, as described in the Stripe Privacy Policy. We receive the payment status, the card brand and last four digits, and your billing name and email, never your full card number or bank login.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us operate, and only as much as they need: website hosting, email delivery, online form and spreadsheet storage (Google Forms and Google Sheets), the payment processor, the accounting and payroll software you use, and analytics if enabled. Each is bound by confidentiality or data-processing terms. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
The website itself works without cookies. If we enable Google Analytics or advertising conversion tracking, those tools set cookies to measure visits, calls and form submissions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Client records and invoices are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, typically eight years, and are then securely deleted.
How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS encryption. Client access is permission-based and can be revoked by you, files are exchanged over encrypted links, and staff are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, get a copy of it, or withdraw consent you have given, subject to legal record-keeping duties. Depending on where you live, for example in California or Canada, you may have further rights under local privacy laws; we honour them for every customer regardless of location. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.
To make a request, email hello@example.com, or write to the address above. We confirm receipt within 10 days and respond in full within 30 days.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not aimed at children. If we learn that we hold personal data about someone under 18, we delete it.
Updates to this policy
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the effective date above.
